"Share The Power Of A Wish"
The Bobbie Arsenault Memorial Event began in 2012 in remembrance of Bobbie Glenn Arsenault II. At the age of 3 months, Bobbie had been diagnosed with cancer. The years that followed consisted of remissions and more diagnoses of different types of cancers (including a rare adult cancer) over a 10 year period before his passing.
For all who knew Bobbie, they would tell you what a kind, loving boy he was. No matter what life had thrown his way, he continued to fight the long hard fight and never let it get him down.
During Bobbie’s illness he was granted a wish from Make-A-Wish Northeast NY. This wish to Walt Disney World created so many memories for him and his family that will always be cherished and never forgotten.
In wanting to do something in remembrance of Bobbie, his family decided to help give other children and their families the chance to have memories to cherish as well. The Memorial Event is held annually in Bobbies’ name and all proceeds go directly to Make-A-Wish Northeast NY.
The organizers are truly grateful at the overwhelming response received from family, friends and the community in supporting this effort.
