Sebastian surprised as wish unveiled at annual Gala
Fourteen-year-old Sebastian is a passionate gamer, and especially loves the unique online world of Minecraft. Sebastian has been hoping to enter the elite of Minecraft players worldwide as part of the Hermitcraft community.
To engage in Hermitcraft, you can't just log in – it’s by invitation only. Accordingly, Sebastian's wish was to have a high-end computer to polish his Minecraft skills, so he can join the Hermitcraft online community.
Making Sebastian's wish come true, Make-A-Wish Northeast New York provided a highly sophisticated and powerful gaming laptop for the young gamer, which he received before a crowd of 425 at the chapter's annual gala. Then, working with the UK Chapter of Make-A-Wish International, an outreach into the online mystical world of Hermitcraft began, and continues.
Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) and Make-A-Wish share a deep commitment to providing emotional support for patients and their families. Thank you, BMS! Your gift to Make-A-Wish in 2018 does more than bring joy to children with cancer. You help us give them an edge in conquering their illnesses.
