For 17-year-old Cameron, a trip to Europe was the perfect way to end his senior year of high school. When he found out the class trip was to Italy and France, he was certain that his heartfelt wish was to go on this adventure with his friends before they each went off to college in the fall.
Cameron is still amazed two strangers, Wish Granters Michael and Linda Doyle, came into his life and helped grant his wish.
The 10-day trip consisted of touring many of the beautiful and historical sites that Venice, Florence and Paris have to offer. Cameron and his classmates from Columbia High School started the trip in Venice where they toured St. Mark’s Square, the Grand Canal and the Doge’s Palace. Next, they traveled to Florence, where they visited Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Della Signoria and the Duomo.
They also got the chance to experience Pisa, the French Rivera and the Principality of Monaco, all before even heading to Paris! During the next two days Cameron was amazed by the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe and of course, the Eiffel Tower.
“My favorite part was to experience this with my closest friends,” Cameron said. “It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
